Bay View Resort Myrtle Beach

We came down on our honeymoon, and had a great time, the whole Myrtle Beach area was great. The location is phenomenal, rooms are on par with what we paid. We did have an issue with our AC, the maintenance team was nice and addressed it in a timely manner. The resort however is definitely starting to show its age, and should have a remodel done soon. Would definitely recommend to others.

Had a great time with family at this location. Will be returning next year with large family group, hoping to find a great deal or promotion ! . Friendly staff. Clean rooms, nice view ! Located right on strip. Pizza, ice cream, arcade, shops, bar, restaurants , amusement .. something for everyone within walking distance ! Beach is steps from back of motel. Indoor and outdoor pools, lazy river and hot tubs ! My husband and I loved the great morning sunrise from our bedroom !

Beautiful view from our20th floor balcony Beautiful room and loved the decor easy parking and passes come w room for parking garage. Fun arcade area restaurant in hotel. 5 OUTDOOR POOLS all heated and a HotTub and Lazy river w floaties (Indoor Pool and Hot Tub and Sauna closed for remodeling) whole place is beautifully decorated. Can see the dolphins from 20th floor it was amazing

Second year, long term stay. Love location, staff, secure and clean. Could use some interior room updating. But the wonderful staff make it easy for you to overlook outdates. Used pools daily.

If you're traveling with family and you necessarily don't want to be in the hustle and bustle of everything this is the perfect hotel to be at. Within walking distance to all the shops Family Kingdom and the boardwalk. Great access to the beach. The furniture in the rooms could definitely use an update.

It is a beautiful location with beautiful ocean views and a very tiny walk out onto the beach! It does have small pool inside in a small pool outside with two hot tubs and a lazy river, but they probably could use a little updating on the inside pool area, or maybe some more attractive decor at the very least…, The pool area on the outside is actually pretty nice with the fire pit in the middle that you can turn on and off at Will and a fairly large hot tub. There are also lawn chairs on the front lawn between the pool area and the beach that are nice areas to sit in. We rented from a private owner for the week just a basic two queen bed suite with microwave and mini fridge, small kitchen sink, etc., and it was overall clean and comfortable . It had great views of the ocean and beach from our balcony and we were on the 16th floor so we could actually leave our slider open at night to hear the ocean outside! The only downside was that there was mold around the AC vent on wall and ceiling around that area. For the price that we paid it’s a great place to stay. It would be nice if it offered more options for food and beverages but only has one small snack bar outside that offers alcohol drinks in munchies that seems to be open very little and random and that is pricey.

I have to give high stars all the way around. Setting up our reservation was so easy. I believe it was Tasha L. I spoke with over the phone. She was so plesent to speak with and so knowledgeable. Once we arrived ( which was about 3 hrs early) They front desk clerk was smiling and so welcoming. The staff did everything to help us get in our room early. I realize we were here in the fall ( October) but they did get us in early. We definitely enjoyed the Starbucks connected to Bayview and I can't say enough about the Starbucks crew, except so professional and helped my wife (who doesn't drink as much coffee as I ) find the perfect drink for her. Our room was perfect, great view of the ocean and city which I like. Our room looked and smelled so clean. The staff and housekeeping are all so professional and always smiling which is a great thing to see. All of the amenities was perfect. I can't say enough about Bayview and their staff. We are already planning a all family vacation with our children and grandchildren for next fall. Bayview is definitely where we will stay for sure!!

The location was perfect for the New Years Eve celebration we were looking for. We had a great view of fireworks from the 2nd ave pier from our balcony! The boardwalk right out front is so convenient and beautiful during our visit with the Christmas lights and music! Our room was clean, smelled nice, and the balcony was big and clean as well! The bed could have used an upgrade was a bit “lumpy”. But not worth complaining about. Restaurants around hotel were pretty good. We never got the chance to try Starbucks on location. But good to have! Also the fire pit was beautiful and warm!! Overall we loved this hotel, and we’ll be back!
